This Privacy Policy describes how ER Screen LLC dba ProCode ("we," "us") collects and protects your information. We recognize that medical data requires a higher standard of care than typical web traffic.

1. The Two Categories of Data

We strictly separate data into two categories with different privacy rules. This distinction is critical to our compliance strategy:

Bucket A: Account & Visitor Data

Information about YOU (the professional).

  • Name, Email, IP Address
  • Billing details (Processed via Stripe)
  • Search history in ProCode Explorer
  • Device analytics

Governed by: Privacy Policy

Bucket B: Clinical Data (PHI)

Information about YOUR PATIENTS.

  • Clinical notes uploaded to ProCode AI
  • Patient demographics in notes
  • AI-generated coding results

Governed by: HIPAA & BAA

2. How We Use Account Data

We use "Bucket A" data to:

  • Process subscriptions via Stripe (we do not store full credit card numbers).
  • Send product updates, security notices, and invoices.
  • Analyze aggregated usage (e.g., "Which CPT codes are trending in Explorer?").

3. Clinical Data & Third-Party Tracking

No Marketing Trackers in Clinical Workspace: We do NOT run marketing pixels (e.g., Meta Pixel, Google Ads) inside the "ProCode AI" interface where Clinical Data is processed. Third-party analytics are strictly limited to the public website, the Explorer tool, and authentication pages.

4. Geographic Scope

ProCode is hosted in the United States and is intended for use by United States residents only. We do not market to or intentionally collect data from residents of the European Union (GDPR) or other jurisdictions. If you are accessing this site from outside the US, you acknowledge that your data will be transferred to and processed in the United States.
